P771K Attendance Reminders:

How do our students do well in school? They attend every day! Students may miss school for illness, emergencies, or religious reasons but we want to remind you that at P771K we want to see every student in school each day. There is a correlation between daily attendance and academic achievement. By attending daily, there is continuation of services, growth in academic, and social emotional skills. Our students benefit from a daily routine. Please make every effort to get your child to school each day. We will contact you if your child is in not in attendance and ask that you do the same. Should you need support, please contact us. This is a partnership. We will commit to being here each day and ask for parents to do the same on behalf of their children.

P771K will contact families and alert families of absences. We are tracking daily attendance and will send support letters to remind you of the importance of attendance. P771K has an attendance teacher who may also conduct home visits when absences are concerning and/or a family is in need of support.

Incentives

Students with 100% attendance will receive special recognition/awards. Classes with the overall highest attendance in January and June will receive a class party.
